Peter started his hospitality career in 1994 as a Youth Trainee at a privately-owned hotel in Northumberland. Over a sixteen-year period with the company he developed from this roll to General manager of the company’s flagship 77-bedroom hotel, conference and sports complex. During this period, he completed a management programme consisting of working in every department within a busy hotel environment. Within this time Peter was responsible for Toast Mastering a staggering 900 + weddings.
Following this he moved to work with the Holiday Inn group for a further 4 years in the hotel sector.
His career then switched paths to work at one of the region’s largest sporting venues, namely Newcastle Racecourse where he was responsible for the venues raceday hospitality, conference and events business. Catering on a regular basis for over 1000 dining guests. After over 4 years at the venue he re-joined the hotel and hospitality business with the High Street Group.
